So this is a very old game, but I finally got to pick it up (for $5 too!)

So this is one of the "Main" GTA's  (the other two being Vice City and San Andreas) And from what I have heard, I'm abit disapointed. Not really for gameplay because I understand that it is the oldest and some of the cool features weren't added till Vice City (like Bikes and Helicopters)
But it's mostly tthe missions and story that has disapointed me. For the first island your working under the mafia (Go Italy!!) but the only thing you really do is drive people short distances. It's very easy. There was maybe 2 missions on that island that were slightly challenging.
The 2nd island which is where I am right now is proving to be abit better, I've already had to assinate someone, so I'm no longer a get away driver.  But I will give it a fair chance and wait till the game is over.

If you go to The Sims 2 main webpage they now have an advertisement for The Sims 3, this is abit suprising to me, I haven't heard anything about it before yesterday when I found it.

Here's the Link to The Sims 3 site

So far it's suppost to come out some time in 2009, no further date has been released.

There isn't alot of information but from the sounds of it, its an updated Sims2 (not suprised)  the graphics look abit better, and the people look abit more realistic. The cool part so far is you can be very customizable with pretty much everything, and You can actually make a decently Fat person! That was always a problem I had with every other Sims games. The fat people weren't fat at all! It also sounds like you can custimize your clothing more, so it might be kinda like the consel version of Sims 2, where you can be very creative with fashion (which is great idea) And apperantly there are tons of different colours and styles for EVERYTHING, clothes, furniture, wallpaper, about everything in the game.

They are also really promoting the fact that you can move around nabhourhoods and walk anywhere..or something like that. I'm not really sure what they mean by this,

When thisgame comes out I'm not going to jump at it. I'm going to wait to see some expansion packs first and see if they are any good as well. Then I might get it. Because I'm fairly happy with Sims 2 right now.

I finished unpacking and sorting back out All my lego during the week. And today I finished putting up all my band posters. My room is almost complete. Just need to buy this big CD holder and a small table type thing to put my TV on.

~~~~
In other news, new Disturbed album is being released in a couple of months and they have released a new single from that album, and it's really good sounding. Sounds like it came from "The Sickness" album.
And in other new album news, In Flames is releasing a  new album very soon. And I heard some of the tracks on their myspace. And it sounds pretty sweet, alot like Come Clairty, which I loved that album.
After many months of being almost completely Lego-less, I am finally getting all my Lego back today!  So happy about that, it's been too long with out it.
The story behind this is, I moved in December, but in order to make the house look better, I had to pack my Lego up in October to sell the house. I've been in the new house since December, but my room was unfinished when we bought the house. (The old owners used it as a storage room in the basement, so no walls or anything, just the supports and insalation were there. So yeah, it took about a month-two months sometimes in late January/early February when my room was finished being "built" and I was able to move into it. And finally last weekend, the cabinets I bought for my lego to be displayed on came in and were installed on the weekend. And this weekend is the week where I can finally unpack my Lego and put it back for all glory.
~~~~~~

Also with March Break officially at an end (ok it ended a week ago)  I managed to spent every last cent of all the money I had, (except I have 6 cents left) The total of everything I bought was:
-All That Remains shirt (50% off)
-studded belt (50% off)
-Rammstein CD
-another Rammstein CD
-HIM CD
-another HIM CD
-Grand Theft Auto 3
-Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories.

over all, I think I did good (expesally because the most expensive thing there was the 50% off shirt which was $15...and GTA3 costed $5 XD

Long time no posting. How are things going on here?
Anyways,the couple of people who read this might be wondering..were have a gone, well for the most part nowhere, just haven't had anything to post about.

Except this week (springbreak) I have been out of town staying at my grandparent's house and also at my cousin's house throughout the week.

This week has had it's ups and downs, so I'll list the main parts of both

The Goods:
-Got to see my grandma and my cousin's who I haven't seen since Christmas.
-Got some money and bought a HIM CD and GTA Liberty City Stories.
-Went and played some laserquest with my cousins and got raped in the first game, then owned the second game.
-And that was about it

The Bads:
-My laptop broke right befoe I left, so I wasn't able to bring it with me, so I have been computerless almost all week, except for today and yesterday when I have been on my cousin's computer.
-Been pretty lonely and depressed alot
-I'm allergic to my cousin's cat

~~~
Most of the week has been spent playing some sort of videogame.
For the first couple of days I was playing alot of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. Got farther in that game, but now I'm stuck again. The part is very unfair and hard. Frustrates me very easly.
After I got stuck in Prince of Persia, I started playing Sims 2 on my sister's gamecube since I don't have my laptop with my Sims in it. I went almost 2 straight days of playing that, also adding in abit of Grand Theft Auto Vice City in there.
Then a couple days ago I went to the mall with my cousin and bought GTA: Liberty City Stories. I originally wanted San Andreis, bt I couldn't find it. And for the past couple days now all we have been playing is that game. Pretty fun, very similar to the Vice City (the only other GTA game I have) but I like the story and the City better. I still really want San Andreis though.
So not even a year has past since Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails released "Year-Zero" And already there has been a re-mix album for Year Zero and now coming April 8th (or 9th, forget)  NIN is releasing another New album, all new stuff.
The album is called "Ghosts" and is definatly something very new for NIN. This album will be COMPLETELY instrumental, no vocals at all. The album will also contain 36 tracks on two disks. Being the second double disk NIN has released (The Fragil being the first one)
Also if you want to hear some of these new songs, go on over to NIN's main website and look around for the section for Ghosts. Or a simple google search will be usefull. On their main page for Ghosts, you can listen to 9 tracks of the new album, and download those 9 tracks for free. So check it out, it's sounding Really sweet. I think any fan of NIN won't be disapointed.
Here's a new find on Brickshelf of a builder called Xifux. They built this for a contest held by Nannan on Flickr. By the sounds of it (correct me if I'm wrong), the contest is to make a Leg model thats very surreal and in the style that Nannan is known for.
This is just plan COOL AS HELL. I love Nannan's style, and this is just like it. Love it.
Here's another cool Moc by the same guy:
Really cool stuff.
That's all for me from now, back to browsing Brickshelf.
Follow This Link  and you will find the winners to the lego Steam Wars contest held at FBTB forums.
Since I'm too lazy to write out a whole thing about this just follow that link and you can see all the winners on the first post.
I must say this has probably been one of the best contest's I have seen on FBTB. Very creative, very fun, I really wish I could have been able to come up with something, but with me moving and having to pack up all my Lego, that makes building abit hard.
And on a random note, why is the "Bored" emotion down below crying? =S
Today I ventured out to Toys R Us and picked me up two more 2008 Lego sets; the AT-AP walker, and Anakin's Jedi Star Fighter.
I would have taken pictures, but I don't really have a working camera at the moment.
So the Jedi Fighter is a cool little model, fun to swoosh around once finished, except stupid R2 doesn't like to stay put. And I actually do like the new cartoony faces. It's different, and interesting to me, its a nice change.
And the AT-AP is also a very ncie model. But not so fun build, alot of technique parts that are annoying to put together. (plus I cut my finger while trying to stick two parts together, and it dug in pretty far.)But the finished model is very nice looking, but not as easy to "swoosh" around, maybe cause it's not a space ship =P
Last night was the Linkin Park concert that I went to see. And What can I see, besides THEY WERE FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!
Lets start off with the begining of the show:
The opening bands where Chiodos and Coheed and Cambria. I missed most of Chiodos's preformance cause I was abit late, but the last bit they sounded not too bad, not great, but good.
The second band was Coheed and Cambria, and I'm just getting into right now, but they were really good. I only really knew one song they played "The Running Free" and I loved when they played that song, cause I really like that song. They also played "Welcome Home" which is featured on the game; Rock Band.
Now, for the main event. Linkin Park.
The opened up with "No More Sorrow" which was explosive when they started with that. Each member came out on their own and the crowd went nuts when Chester (vocals) came out. I had chills when they were playing No More Sorrow. I love that song, and it was so sweet listening to them live. This is the band I first liked and got me into music, they were my favourite band for years, and its so unreal seeing them live.
Luckly though the tour was a Minutes To Midnight tour, they still managed to play alot of songs from Hybrid Theory and Meteora (which those are the songs I LOVE) The played all the old singles, plus a couple of songs that weren't singles like "Lying To You" , "Don't Stay",  and a really cool slower/piano version of "Lying To You"  They closed the show with "Faint" which was my original favourite song for so very long.
Best songs they played were definatly "No More Sorrow"  "In The End"  "Numb"  and  "One Step Closer"
There isn't anything else I can think to say, except, the only crappy part about concerts is morons who smoke pot during the show. I HATE the smell of weed, and every concert there are alot of people doing it (how they get it in would be an interesting story.)
After along time Slowly (very slowly) drawing this picture, I have FINALLY finished.
I present to you Avenged Sevenfold, in all their glory
There is also manymanymany other pictures that I have yet to ever post up here, because I'm too lazy. So just look around my gallery of pictures on my DeviantART profile and feel free to comment there or on this message.
~~~

And in other news about my own life. Today marks the first day I HAVE A ROOM in my new house. The last bits of my room were finally finished today, and now everything is ready for me to move into it. Out of the tiny room I was living in for the frist 2-3 months of living in this house.
The only trouble was moving my Lego Death Star down the Stairs. I was SO worried about it the whole time. I could just see me tripping or it just breaking under the pressure of me holding it or something. Thankfully it didn't though =)

And in other news of my life, since I'm bored and feel like sharing more about my personal life right now, instead of lego related. Tomorrow is looking to be a very good day indeed. Wel firstly, I'm going out to dinner with a friend of mine, which is always fun (plus food, I love food)
And then after that we are going to see Linkin Park (with Coheed and Cambria), which is going to be AWSOME. I'm a very big Linkin park fan. Though I preffer their old stuff, which as the music I fell in love with and still am to this day. It's what got me into music originally. So when I heard they were going on tour, and coming to my city, I bought tickets as soon as I could, even if they were $60 and I hate paying over $30 for a concert. But it's worth it.  And then I'm staying at the same friend's house for the night. And also I will be getting my long awaited birthday money this weekend. Which we all know what that will be spent on ;)

I will update tomorrow night or Sunday at some point about how the show went.

Finally pictures have surfaced of the two rumoured sets for the TX-130 Saber Tank, and the Droid Gunship. Two ships I REALLY want to get. And from the crappy blurry images, they already look awsome!  Check out the pictures., the Tank is not bad quality of a picture, the Gunship is horribly blurry, but you get a good idea of it.

Just got some news about Star Wars Lego at Toyfair 2008. Some people posted some links to two sites which have a good junk of pictures from  Here's the links to the two sites:

Link 1, which contains more pictures from different angles and zooms

Link 2, which has less pictures, but I think better quality ones.

Everything still looks the same to me, no new thoughts about the sets. Except two small ones. 1) I think the Magna Guards look pretty bad now. and 2) I htink Plo Koon looks much better then the first pictures.

O and I think this new speeder bike included in the Gunship is by far the best looking Lego Speeder bike.

It also appears that the Gunship has many little doors and openings. Alot of playability in it, which is great.

So I FINALLY was able to play the latest game craze; Rockband
Now, firstly, it was a fun game, but not as good as Guitarhero3 in my opinion.
Rockband is fun because of the multiplayer aspect of it, and the drums are cool too. I never tryed the Mic though.
I also like how you can add in your own fills in certain parts of the song.
As for songs, they were abit disapointing to be honest.
There were some good songs, and alot of alright songs, but thats about it.
The good ones I can think of off the top of my head where "The Hand That Feeds" by Nine Inch nails,   "In Bloom" by Nirvana,   "Paranoid" by Black Sabbith ,  and "Welcome Home" by Coheed And Cambria.  I know I'm missing some, but those are the best songs in my opinion.

Now Guitarhero 3, is the oppisite to me. They have great songs, alot more really good ones that I like, but doesn't have the cool functions that Rockband has. Guitarhero contains bands like; Killswitch Engage, In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Disturbed, Slipknot, Slayer, AFI, Rage Against The Machine, Senses Fail, Rise Against, Muse,     and a bunch of bands I just can't remember, but I know theres more good ones.

Anyways, Rockband is good when you have multiple people there, Guitarhero is good for either just you, or you and another person. If I could still find Guitarhero3 with the guitar for PS2 I would buy it. But since I can't I guess I'm going to have to just play friends games. OR better, learn the songs on real guitar, which I can do! =D
And rockband, I wouldn't buy with my own money, for $170 or so, it's not worth it in my opinion.

So apparently some point last year Lego land had a bunch of Star Wars themed lego models around their Lego Land themepark. I didn't hear about this till today, so here are the pictures I found. They are really cool.

This one is just AMAZING

Also apparently Lego Land will have another similar thing this year since next year will be the 10th Anniversary of Lego Star Wars. They wil be displaying all the new sets in Sept. at the park. I wonder if that just includes the summer Clone Wars sets or if it will also include some 2009 sets. And maybe the very interesting sounding set which will be made from suggestions from the Lego fans, just for the anniversary.
I really hope Lego doesn't change their mind about that set, I would love to see a set for the fans, by the fans.

(My suggestion was either an UCS Venator Star Destroyer, or a good, big Cantina Bar. On FBTB, the forum I belong to, the winning suggestion from most people was a Cantina Bar.)

Today is the most horrible time of the year.

I hate this "holiday"  but I'd rather not get into this whole thing again. I've typed up why I hate v-day (or as I say Halmark day, because that's pretty much what it is)

Anyways, this picture is kinda, v-day related, and i drew it today (kinda as a gift for a friend) So I'd like to share it.

The picture is based after the song called "Funeral of Hearts" by H.I.M

Well According to this article, this is true. Apperantly they are making a full length movie for the new Clone Wars series which will be out in the fall. This movie should be in theaters in August some time. Not sure about story or anything like that, but it's probably going to be like a very long episode to kick off the new series.  All I can say is the show looks pretty cool. The animation looks really good, detailed, but cartoony still. I'm very looking forward to this.

Here's a video on Starwars.com thats a cool little introduction to the Clone Wars:  Clone Wars Video
