Welcome, enjoy your stay.
Here ae some of the things I am most likely to talk about:
~Star Wars~
~Star Wars Lego~
~Music~
~Video Games~
And really what ever else I feel like mentioning.
Also here are some other sites that I have profiles on:
~Myspace~ ~DeviantART~

~Vampirefreaks~ ~Facebook~
~Brickshelf~
~We're Too Good For A Name~
I finished unpacking and sorting back out All my lego during the week. And today I finished putting up all my band posters. My room is almost complete. Just need to buy this big CD holder and a small table type thing to put my TV on.

In other news, new Disturbed album is being released in a couple of months and they have released a new single from that album, and it's really good sounding. Sounds like it came from "The Sickness" album.
And in other new album news, In Flames is releasing a new album very soon. And I heard some of the tracks on their myspace. And it sounds pretty sweet, alot like Come Clairty, which I loved that album.
So not even a year has past since Trent Reznor and Nine Inch Nails released "Year-Zero" And already there has been a re-mix album for Year Zero and now coming April 8th (or 9th, forget) NIN is releasing another New album, all new stuff.
The album is called "Ghosts" and is definatly something very new for NIN. This album will be COMPLETELY instrumental, no vocals at all. The album will also contain 36 tracks on two disks. Being the second double disk NIN has released (The Fragil being the first one)
Also if you want to hear some of these new songs, go on over to NIN's main website and look around for the section for Ghosts. Or a simple google search will be usefull. On their main page for Ghosts, you can listen to 9 tracks of the new album, and download those 9 tracks for free. So check it out, it's sounding Really sweet. I think any fan of NIN won't be disapointed.
Lets start off with the begining of the show:
The opening bands where Chiodos and Coheed and Cambria. I missed most of Chiodos's preformance cause I was abit late, but the last bit they sounded not too bad, not great, but good.
The second band was Coheed and Cambria, and I'm just getting into right now, but they were really good. I only really knew one song they played "The Running Free" and I loved when they played that song, cause I really like that song. They also played "Welcome Home" which is featured on the game; Rock Band.
Now, for the main event. Linkin Park.
The opened up with "No More Sorrow" which was explosive when they started with that. Each member came out on their own and the crowd went nuts when Chester (vocals) came out. I had chills when they were playing No More Sorrow. I love that song, and it was so sweet listening to them live. This is the band I first liked and got me into music, they were my favourite band for years, and its so unreal seeing them live.
Luckly though the tour was a Minutes To Midnight tour, they still managed to play alot of songs from Hybrid Theory and Meteora (which those are the songs I LOVE) The played all the old singles, plus a couple of songs that weren't singles like "Lying To You" , "Don't Stay", and a really cool slower/piano version of "Lying To You" They closed the show with "Faint" which was my original favourite song for so very long.
Best songs they played were definatly "No More Sorrow" "In The End" "Numb" and "One Step Closer"
There isn't anything else I can think to say, except, the only crappy part about concerts is morons who smoke pot during the show. I HATE the smell of weed, and every concert there are alot of people doing it (how they get it in would be an interesting story.)
What? A non-Star Wars related entry? I know it's crazy!
Anyways, I noticed I haven't updated alot about just my life and other non-Star Wars related.
The first big thing is I just found out recently that one of my top bands, Bleeding Through, will be coming out with a new album this spring. =D
Which is great news, obviously, I just hope that this new album will be good. The last year has been abit disapointing with new albums. Maybe 2008 will be different. So far in 2008 one new album that I'm interested in is Bullet For My Valentine's , Scream, Aim, and Fire. Which is a very good album, not as good as The Poison, but its hard to compare the two because they changed their style for Scream, Aim, and Fire.
In other music related news, on May 1st, a pretty awsome sounding tour is coming through my city, Gigantour. The bands playing are: In Flames, Job For a Cowboy, Children of Bodom, Megadeth, and some other band I haven't heard of. the first three bands are the ones I really am interested in, I'm not a big fan of Megadeth personally. Also less then a month now till the Linkin Park concert coming up on Feb. 23. which has Coheed and Cambria, and I think my friend said Chiodos is also opening, but I could be wrong about that. But anyways, can't wait for both those shows, they are gonna kick ass. (I just hope Linkin Park plays a good amount of their old stuff, cause I'm not a huge fan of their new stuff, it's just alright to me)
Well that's all for me right now, till next time...and I can't think of anything good to say for a decent closing line.
I played 3 different things in it. The first thing was a solo guitar compitition, which I played "My Curse" by Killswitch Engage, and I won 2nd place for that song. I could have done better if I wasn't nervous, my hand was kinda shakey and it screwed me up in one part.
The afternoon of the day was taken place for a large Battle of the Bands compitition, where two bands I belong to competed both in the intermediate section, and my main band Scarlet Fate, won 2nd place, and my other band won 1st place.
Everyone in my second band was pretty shocked that we somehow came 1st, over Scarlet Fate and this Trio band who were Amazingly good (but apperantly lost alot of points because they were an all instrumental band) But besides shocked as hell, I really didn't care for that victory.
It was a completely hollow victory to me. This band is fun and all, but Scarlet Fate is the band I love. When the other one wins, it doesn't really mean anything to me. I don't even know why, because im trying hard in both, maybe even abit harder in the other band because its harder since I'm the Lead guitarist as aposed to the Bass player
Well thats all I have for now to say, I will try to post the pictures of the show once I get them, plus my sister was kind enough to video tape my solo preformance. I may post it if I find it decent enough to post.
But if it sucks, then I mist just record myself later when im not all nervous and do a better job at the song (and some other songs as well)
Our main site right now is on myspace, which can be found Right Here:
And here's two videos we have had recorded during two of our shows.
The first video is us doing a cover of "Peace of Mind" by Boston (which normally isn't our style of music, but we wanted to try something different, and that was perfect.)
The second video is of us playing our own song called "Away and Under"
And this is abit off topic, but here's a video of our Lead guitarist just playing some guitar, really good stuff.
Ok lets start off with:
Best Albums of the year (in My opinion.)
Looking back at most albums that have come out this year, most were pretty disapointing. So here are my top 5 list of Albums that most were still abit disapointing, but still the best.
1) "An Ocean Between Us" by As I Lay Dying. This is definatly the best CD of 07 that I have listened to. Not disapointing in anyway to me. Great solid album, full of good Hardcore/Metal. There isn't really a weak section to the album, and it's just a great album. Any fans of Hardcore/Metal music should pick this album up.
2) "Pressure The Hinges" by Haste The Day. The other album this year that didn't disapoint me. It's abit more "singy" then Haste The Day's older music, but it's still really good. Personally I love "The Minor Prophets" Over all Solid album, great for fans of Atreyu and other more Hardcore type bands.
3) "Lead Sails and Paper Anchor" by Atreyu. Originally I thought this album would suck, I heard alot of bad things about it from friends and fans. But I gave it a chance and bought the album because I'm a big Atreyu fan. I was abit disapointed that they changed their sound, but frankly if you forget about what they used to sound like and just pay attention to this sound, it's actually pretty good. Different sounding, but good. It's a solid album, with great riffs and tunes. Abit more Rockish then Hardcore, but it still has elements of the heavier hardcore sound. The album opens up to a great song called "Doomsday" which is a great opening to the album. And it ends on a song also called "Lead Sails and Paper Anchors" which is one of the more unique and different songs I have heard them do. It's slower but really good non the less.
4) "Avenged Sevenfold" by Avenged Sevenfold. The long awaited follow up to City of Evil (which was an amazing album) This album was abit of a disapointment. It was still good, but it felt like they could have done more. Also it probably felt that way since City of Evil was such a great album, it's hard to top themselves. So I'm giving them credit for that part. The album was fairly solid throughout, minus the last song which I don't like. And around the middle it is abit weaker. The album has alot of power and great songs for the first 4 tracks, then gets abit weaker and then builds up abit around the ending, minus the last track, which I really didn't like. Over all it's a good album that if your a fan of A7X you should get, just don't expect it to be an Amazing album.
5) "Year Zero" by Nine Inch Nails. Another highly anticipated album that didn't hold up as much as I hoped it would. The first single "Survivalisim" made the album sound like it would be more like NIN's older stuff. But thats not the case. The album is alot more of a mellow album. Alot of the songs are more mellow and don't have that "punch/or edge" that NIN has in other songs. But regardless it's still a good album (thus why it's on this list) I'm a fan of Mellow stuff as well so this album worked for me. It was more industrial sounding to me, with more techno/computer generated sound effects in it. The last couple of tracks I really like "Zero Sum" "In this Twilight" and a couple others are more emotional but still very good. I'm a sucker for when bands do more emotional songs.
Best Movies of the Year (in my opinion)
Now I'm not a huge fan of movies, so I haven't seen every movie that has come out this year, but these are the best ones I saw of 07.
1) Spiderman 3. I'm a big Spidey fan, and this movie was Highly anticipated by me. Unlike half of the people who saw it, I loved the movie. I thought it had a great mix of emotion and action. I loved the black suit, and Venom (though he needed his tongue) and Emo Parker, and event he dance scene, yes I liked that scene. (waits for something to be thrown at me) And I really liked the ending, though it was sad. When I first saw it I actually shed a couple tears when harry died.
My only real problem I had with the movie was it was pretty jam packed. They tryed to shove too many things into one movie, when I think it would have worked better as a two parter. The first half have Sandman, Harry, and the Black suit, and then at the end of the movie he gets rid of the Black suit. And then Venom comes at the very end of the movie and then leads into the next one with Sandman and Venom fighting together and Harry not fighting till the end.
2) Transformers. I had a bad feeling about this movie when I heard about it. I thought it was just a sad attempt to make some money and it was going to fail miserably. But then after a week of it being in theaters I couldn't find one bad review about the film, so I had to see it. And was I not disapointed. The movie was a visual buffet. The animation on the transformers were beautifully done and when they transformed there was so much detail in it. The movie also had good humor places throughout the film. The character devolptment wasn't the greatest, it was about average, so thats not a big deal. If you didn't see it in theaters you really missed out. I have it on DVD but it doesn't get nearly the same feeling on a small screen, it needs to be big and epic.
3) Hot Fuzz. From the makers of Shawn of the Dead comes another hilarious movie. About a small town obsessed with winning "Town of the Year" and will kill people who make their town look bad. I'm a big fan of Shawn of the Dead and the two main guys in both movies (don't know their names) I love the action and humor throughout the movie, and you need to watch it if your a fan of Shawn of the Dead or if you just like a good comedy movie.
4) The Simpsons Movie. Basically it was a long episode, but still good non the less. Thankfully it was better then the newer episodes of Simpsons (which really have gone down hill over the years) The plot was alot better then I was expecting, which is good. And the humor in it was about better then what I expected. Any fans of the Simpsons should see this movies. Though I don't think it's one of those movies that you will watch 100 billion times
Best Video Games of the Year
I would have made a Video Game section, but I don't have any of the new systems so I haven't been able to say whats the best or not.
But from what I've seen (and Demos played at stores) this is my not very good list about the years best games:
1) Call of Duty 4
2) Portal (I just love that game damit)
3) Halo 3
4) Lego Star Wars The Complete Trilogy
5) Assasin's Creed
